RCCG JESUS HOUSE, OGBA, HOSTED THE CEE-HOPE ANNUAL SUMMER COACHING

The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Jesus House, Ogba, Lagos, hosted the Center for Children Rights Protection Health Education. (CEE-HOPE) annual free Summer School for primary and secondary school children in the Ifelodu and Oke-Ira communities of Ifako-Ijaiye Local Government Area, where the church is located.

The program, which attracted over 300 children from Primary One to Senior Secondary Three (SS3), held between Monday, 11th August, and Friday, 23rd August, 2025.
The initiative which was fully sponsored by CEE-HOPE Nigeria gulping over ₦700,000 for the Ifelodu-Oke-Ira center alone, for more than 2,000 academic materials for both students and teachers as well as financial token for teachers and volunteers.
In addition to academic sessions, pupils received vocational training in computer education, hair-cutting (for boys), hair-styling (for girls), and pastry-making (for all).

At the grand finale, prizes were awarded to the most intelligent and well-behaved students from each class where a triplets, Boluwatife, Busola and Bolatito of the Akinfolarin emerged the best behaved pupils of the junior secondary school and their elder sister, Dolapo Akinfolarin also ,Ade the list for the best behaved student in the senior secondary level. Other awardees include Onah Emmanuel, James Faith and Iduma Marvelous all of senior primary school. Mary Okorie and Moisi Victoria made the list for senior secondary school while Ogbo Pauluna, Isera John Sandy and Emefie Purity made the list for the junior primary school.
The event was graced by the founder of CEE-HOPE Nigeria, Ms. Betty Abah, alongside staff of the NGO. In her address, Ms. Abah encouraged the children to take God and their education seriously, noting that such commitment would secure them a brighter future. Also at the event was Ms Ronke Igeh, a lawyer, motivational speaker and women and children's rights activist. Ige equally encouraged the children on the need to live examplary life worth of emotion and that which indicates who they dreamt of becoming.
Parents and community leaders expressed deep gratitude to the church for such an unprecedented and impactful gesture in the community.

The Lead Pastor of the Area Headquarters, Pastor Okeson Oche Onu, on behalf of RCCG, appreciated CEE-HOPE Nigeria for their generous support and prayed for the children as he officially declared the 2025 Summer School Program closed.
