2Baba’s Mother Cries Out: "Help Me Beg Natasha to Leave My Son!"

Rose Idibia, mother of renowned Nigerian singer Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has made a public plea, urging Nigerians to intervene and ask Edo State lawmaker, Natasha Osawaru, to distance herself from her son.

In a viral video that surfaced on Thursday evening, Mrs. Idibia expressed deep concern over her son's well-being, stating that he is not in the right state of mind due to his ongoing divorce from his estranged wife, Annie.

"Good evening, Nigerians. My name is Mrs. Rose Idibia, the mother of 2Baba. This message is for Miss Natasha Osawaru of Edo State. I’m calling on all mothers in Nigeria to help me plead with her to let my son go," she said.

She further claimed that the singer's behavior is unusual and not characteristic of him.
"My son is currently going through a divorce, and he is clearly not himself. I know my son well—this is not him. Please, Natasha, the beads you placed on his wrist and neck, take them off and free him," she pleaded.

The plea follows a viral video of 2Baba proposing to Osawaru. In the footage, the singer was seen dancing with the lawmaker before presenting her with a ring, sealing the moment with a long embrace in the presence of friends.

This development comes just a day after the music icon publicly confirmed his relationship with Osawaru, sparking mixed reactions across social media.
