Renowned Nollywood Actor, Amaechi Muonagor, has passed away.

Nigerian actor Amaechi Muonagor is dead.

Muonagor's demise occurred on Sunday, March 24, 2024, following complications related to kidney ailments, diabetes, and a previous stroke.

In 2023, he experienced a stroke resulting in partial paralysis of his left leg.

Reports indicate that Muonagor underwent regular dialysis sessions and physiotherapy to treat the effects of the stroke.

The actor, who hailed from Obosi, Anambra State, made his mark in the Nigerian film industry, Nollywood, since his debut in 1998. Throughout his illustrious career, he graced the screens with notable performances in films like "Taboo 1" (1989), "Aki and Pawpaw," "Karishika" (1998), "Aki na Ukwa" (2002), "Igodo" (1999), among many others.

He earned a nomination for Best Actor at the 2017 Africa Magic Viewers' Choice Awards, showcasing his talent and contribution to the industry.
