American rapper Lil Devin killed by masked men

American rapper Lil Devin has been killed after a group of masked men reportedly stormed a New Year's Eve family party he was at.

The 24-year-old musician was killed in front of his family members – before being rushed to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The rapper, whose real name is Devin Swain, sustained "injuries to his chest."

"It was traumatic very traumatic something that I wouldn’t want anyone to ever go through. I wouldn’t wish that on anyone’s family. The rapper's brother, Donald Cox, told Fox59.

"It's definitely hard we never really expected like something like this to come about to such a phenomenal person.

"He was just one of those people that believed in me before I even believed in myself," he said.

The incident took place in the city of Anderson in Indiana with police being called out over reports of a home invasion robbery, according to several reports.
