RCCG JESUS HOUSE, OGBA, HOSTED THE CEE-HOPE ANNUAL SUMMER COACHING

The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Jesus House, Ogba, Lagos, hosted the Center for Children Rights Protection Health Education. (CEE-HOPE) annual free Summer School for primary and secondary school children in the Ifelodu and Oke-Ira communities of Ifako-Ijaiye Local Government Area, where the church is located. The program, which attracted over 300 children from Primary One to Senior Secondary Three (SS3), held between Monday, 11th August, and Friday, 23rd August, 2025. The initiative which was fully sponsored by CEE-HOPE Nigeria gulping over ₦700,000 for the Ifelodu-Oke-Ira center alone, for more than 2,000 academic materials for both students and teachers as well as financial token for teachers and volunteers. The Centre for Children's Health Education, Orientation and Protection (CEE-HOPE) is deeply saddened by the sudden and untimely passing of Ms Evelyn Osagie, Evelyn Osagie, a gifted, versatile and vibrant poet-journalist, a culture promoter and an unwavering advocate for the vulnerable. An Assistant Editor at The Nation Newspaper, Ms Osagie dedicated her career to championing the causes of women and children, civil liberties, and mental health. Her groundbreaking concept of “experiential poetry” a compelling fusion of poetic artistry, journalistic clarity, and visual storytelling made her a singular talent in Nigeria’s cultural and media landscape.
